The Early Years Learning Framework

The Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) is a key component of the Australian Government's National Quality Framework (NQF). The EYLF is Australia's first national framework for early childhood education and aims to extend and enrich children's learning from birth through to their transition to school.

Our learning programs are guided and supported by the EYLF, and embody its central idea of 'belonging, being and becoming'. When children experience 'belonging' they know where and with whom they belong whilst 'being' in the moment, to then 'becoming' the individuals they develop into throughout childhood.

According to the EYLF’s five Learning Outcomes, we will assist children to develop:

• A strong sense of identity,
• A connection to their world,
• A strong sense of wellbeing,
• Confidence and involvement in their learning,
• Effective communication skills.
